What an amazing year.. I'm really lucky to have gotten to meet and know my classmates. They're a really awesome bunch of people, and each and every one of them touched my heart, like everyone who walks in and out of my life. I wish all of them the best of luck in everything they do. I'll always think of you guys fondly. Goodbyes are hard, but 'see ya later's are bearable. That said...

Bah! Missed the bird stuffing demo today to do some work. *cough website *. I'm about the worst when it comes to dead things.. though I've gotten a lot better about it after a year of being around specimens and such. BUT. I still won't touch a caterpiller with a 10 foot pole. NO CATERPILLERS. To humor you, here's a photo of myself and my siblings after a bout at the lake. I'm the nutcase on the right.

The weather's been absolutely perfect in Santa Cruz, though I tend to find myself in a windowless room more often than not (the lab room, not solitary confinement thank you very much - though I suppose there isn't much of a distinction). The Science Illustration program is almost over, and I admit, I'll miss it and everyone. My only consolation is being able to go fishing more often at ol' Loch Lomond, but after I secure an internship of course.
